Growing in faith and serving our Lord are stressed throughout the day in kindergarten.  Children attend five full days from 8 am-3 pm. 

Our day is action packed.  The morning consists of circle time, Christian education, language arts, math and theme.   From Phonics to Reading is used to build a solid reading foundation based on phonemic awareness, phonics, sight word practice and comprehension skills. Decodable texts are used to give children time to practice their phonics skills, fluency and reading comprehension.  The classroom is rich in literature and children will hear many texts  read aloud. Kindermath will help all students acquire number skills needed to excel in mathematics in the elementary years.   Science and Social studies are taught on a rotating basis.  

Children are also given time to explore interests and learn valuable social skills through center time and playground time.  Cooperation, creativity and social skills are practiced and modeled in everything we do.  Enrichment activities include library, Accelerated Reader, music, art, computers, physical education and foreign language (Spanish). Special seasonal activities are also a focus in kindergarten.
