3-Year Old Preschool
Preschool for 3-year-olds is a big step in their little lives and also for their parents. This is often the first time they have been away from mom and dad or in a structured setting. P3 has the scheduling option of coming 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days with the option of staying till noon, 1 pm (Lunch Bunch), or 3 pm. Extended Care is also available until 6 pm. We share Jesus daily throughout all of our activities. The children will know that God made us, loves us, and forgives us. A major focus for P3 is in the development of social skills. They will work on sharing, taking turns, and learning how to be a kind and loving Christian friend. They also have opportunities to help others through service projects. Our days are very structured with hands-on activities that give them the opportunity to discover and explore the world around them. Each week we have a different Bible lesson, letter, number, theme, and focus. This includes structured time, free time, small group, large group, and one-on-one time. During each week students will be introduced to early literacy concepts, math, science, social studies, Spanish, sign language, art music, and physical activities. Our classroom uses Scott Foresman for literacy and is supplemented with creative curriculum.
