Self-Control

posted Jan 6, 2020, 6:17 AM by Admissions Admissions

January’s “Christ In Me” character trait is SELF-CONTROL. Self-control is the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations. As we go through this lesson, our students will explore ways to
* Control negative impulses, in dependence on the Holy Spirit
* Think through consequences before speaking or acting
* Walk away from troublemakers
This lesson is also helpful for children who tend to overreact, have difficulty managing anger and lash out by shouting, hitting or biting. I encourage you to visit https://www.kidsofintegrity.com/lessons/self-control and check out the fun crafts and activities that go along with this lesson.
