Dear Parents,                                                                         4-30-07

 

     We are so thrilled to be in our new rooms!  Stick your head in sometime! 

     I am planning an all day field trip on May 22.  We will tour Diamond Caverns, then hike and picnic at Mammoth Cave.  I will send the permission slips home next week.

     We are still working on the books of the Bible and our last ABC verses.  We are reading about Paul and his missionary journeys and the many ways we can praise God.

     We have learned that pronouns take the place of nouns.  “She” can take the place of a girl’s name; “he” can take the place of a boy’s name; “we” or “they” can take the place of two or more names.  We are reading about Alexander Graham Bell and ways to communicate.

     Our test on plants is tomorrow.  Our test on matter will be next week.  If your child listens and participates in class, they will do fine.
