Admissions                                                                     Admission Application

Just like parents, we want the best for children. In assessing your child for admission to Holy Trinity Lutheran School, we want to ensure, as best we can, that your child's needs will be well-served by our program. We have found that children who thrive at Holy Trinity Lutheran School are capable, independent, assertive learners.  School tours can be arranged by calling the office. General tours are offered by appointment. Interested parents are always welcome to view the classrooms.

Students

Holy Trinity Lutheran School admits students of all races, colors, national and ethnic origins and affords them all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available at the school.

Standardized Testing

Testing is done each spring using a nationally normed achievement test. All children in grades K - 6 are tested and included in the school average. From 1997 - 2001, the school average ranked in the 90th percentile on the CAT/5 test.

Chapel

Students have many opportunities to learn about and worship God. Daily prayers in classrooms, the study of God's Word and Bible memory verses are regular parts of the school day. Weekly worship at Chapel involves children from preschool through sixth grades. Children share their chapel offerings with others in the community, the nation and around the world.

Service

Each month children routinely visit local nursing homes to share God's love with residents. Each classroom and the school as a whole participate in a variety of service projects each school year. HTLS kids are "servant leaders"!

Extended Care

The extended school program is designed for families who want or need care for their child beyond regular school hours. This program provides childcare before and after school, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your child can enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor fun and games, and can also take a quiet time to rest or work in study hall while waiting for you to arrive to take him home.

Extracurricular Activities

Throughout the year there are special enrichment opportunities you can choose for your child such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chess Club, Science Club, Art Club, Dance, Jump Rope Club, Junior Achievement, and Student Council.

Alumni

Alumni are an invaluable part of Holy Trinity Lutheran School's legacy and the school strives to keep in touch with them and to share in their accomplishments.
